Dual Enrollment

The Ramapo Indian Hills High School District has partnered with Bergen Community College, Centenary University, Ramapo College, Syracuse University and Quinnipiac University to offer students the opportunity to earn college credits while enrolled in high school through successful completion of Dual Enrollment courses.  This enables high school students to gauge their ability to do college work prior to full-time college study. Upon successful completion of a dual enrollment course, students are awarded transcripts from the college/university that record credits earned. These credits are transferable to hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide at the discretion of the individual institutions. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A PER-CREDIT TUITION CHARGE ASSOCIATED WITH DUAL ENROLLMENT COURSES, although this charge is significantly discounted and financial aid may be available to eligible students.The following is a listing of courses that are anticipated for Dual Enrollment during the 2024-2025 school year:

Chinese 4H (LAN -278), French 4H (LAN-201), Italian 4H (LAN-221), Spanish 4H (LAN-231)

*Pending teacher and course approval by Bergen Community College.  Students interested in Dual Enrollment through Bergen Community College will need to inform their guidance counselors during the scheduling process for planning purposes.  Dual enrollment through Bergen Community College is subject to student interest and / or approved teacher availability.
