IHHS - Library/Media Center

The Library Media Centers are members of the Bergen Electronic Library for Schools, known as BELS. The BELS system provides students with access to the resources of 40 schools libraries and all the public libraries in Bergen County. Students can electronically request materials from any of the member libraries.

Through the Library Media Center Web site, students have access both from school and from home to a wide array of online resources including Encyclopedia Britannica, Gale Student Resource Center, EBSCO, SIRS, WilsonBiographies Plus, The Record and The New York Times.

The Library Media Centers provide materials that reflect the curricular needs and interests of students.  The Library Media Centers subscribe to local and national newspapers and over 70 magazines.  Computers with Internet access, printers, copy machines and microfilm/microfiche readers with printers are also available for student use.
