Welcome back! I hope you had a relaxing and wonderful summer. The summer was a time to re-energize and recharge your batteries so that you can enjoy another terrific school year!
This week we welcome our Indian Hills High School Class of 2020. I am looking forward to addressing these students and their parents at Freshmen Orientation and to let them know what a wonderful school tradition exists here. We have achieved a great deal of success here at Indian Hills throughout the years because of the “collaborative approach” that we share with each other. Our Freshman Class will become a part of that “success story” in a very short time and we look forward to the part that they will play!
To our returning students and parents, continue to get involved in school life so that you can contribute to our on-going success. Parents - continue to act as “role models” for your children, and students - continue to put forth your best effort in all of your undertakings. Remember, your academics always come first during your high school years, but your involvement in extra curricular activities will enhance your overall experience and help you to become the well-rounded individual who you seek to become. I truly look forward to enjoying an outstanding school year with you!
As has been my practice, I am including my Graduation Address to the Class of 2016 at this time. I invite you to read my comments addressed to our graduates as they embark upon the newest facet of their lives. As I stated at the end of my address, “I am proud to be your Principal” and these words continue to ring true to all of you, the current student body of Indian Hills. Good luck and Go Braves!
