Indian Hills High School has earned a place on the 2016 "100 Best W!SE High Schools" ranking. Working in Support of Education (W!SE), is a leading provider of financial education programs. Indian Hills was ranked because the students at our school scored among the highest in the country on the W!SE Financial Literacy Certification Test. The students tested were in Mr. Paravati's U.P. Principles of Finance and Global Markets class and Mr. Murphy's Economics CPE class; both course curricula incorporate units of study focused on personal finance and financial literacy. Mr. Paravati and Mr. Murphy have also been recognized by W!SE as "Gold Star" teachers based on the number of students in their classes who achieved high test scores.
W!SE announced the prestigious ranking on April 11, 2016, at a ceremony sponsored by Voya Financial® and hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The 2016 ranking is based on school achievement in the 2014-15 school year and is available at:
