Dear students,

Welcome to Indian Hills High School.  On behalf of our faculty and staff, I wish you all a successful and exciting new school year.

Please get involved in your high school.  Besides a rigorous and varied academic program, high school provides you with an opportunity to engage in a wide variety of extra-curricular and sports activities.  Check our website at www.rih.org for information on these and other offerings available to you.

To our incoming freshman, please take advantage of all that our high school has to offer.  Our Transition Program continues to be enhanced to assist and help you assimilate into our school, and provide you with the support and direction you'll need for your ensuing years as upperclassmen.  Someone is always available to help you with your classes, or to provide information about our clubs, activities, and athletic programs.

As academic excellence is the most important goal of our high school, our support network is there for you.  Please take advantage of your teacher's, guidance counselor's, and student ambassador's assistance as you move through the school year.  Our National Honor Society provides tutoring services, and our school is known for its positive and friendly atmosphere. We will always be there for you, but you must help yourself as well!

Please read the rules, regulations, and information contained in your handbook.  By becoming an informed student you will be better able to enjoy your years at Indian Hills!

Together we must strive to uphold the high standards and ideals of our high school, and most importantly, become good model citizens within our communities.
