Rotating Drop Block Schedule
Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, both high schools will transition to the Rotating Drop Block Schedule (RDBS). This change was officially approved by the Board of Education at their December 16, 2024 meeting.
The new RDBS schedule will follow a 4-day rotating cycle. Each day, students will attend six of their eight classes, with the specific classes rotating daily. There will be a few anchor days throughout the school year, where students will attend all of their eight classes. This design ensures students experience each class at different times throughout the cycle. Each class period will be 56 minutes long, and there will be a single, fixed lunch period for all students.
