Helen Koulikourdis has lived in Franklin Lakes for 20 years with her husband, Peter. She has served the community in numerous ways, something that runs in the family as the Koulikourdis family, including children, were recently honored to be nominated and awarded the Franklin Lakes Mayor's Volunteer Award. Helen has served on the Franklin Lakes Education Foundation Executive Board, RectoberFlef Committee, multiple PTA committees at Woodside Avenue School and Franklin Avenue Middle School, Franklin Lakes Recreation coach. She has been a Sunday School Teacher, Daughters of Penelope President and Oasis of Paterson volunteer. Helen has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Pace University. She is a Hospital Administrator at White Plains Hospital where she has worked for 25 years first overseeing White Plains MRI. As Board Member Helen believes transparency is paramount. She describes her role as Board Member in the same way she has with all of her previous community service: that the greater good is more important than the individual.
