The Ramapo-Indian Hills DECA chapter officially concluded its 2025-2026 competitive season with a historic trip to the DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
Eight outstanding State Finalists represented the district at this prestigious event, the highest level of DECA competition worldwide:

- Elle Guarracino
- Natalie Bohchalian
- Finn McCarthy
- Irdas Shehu
These dedicated students spent a portion of their Spring Break competing against more than 26,000 peers from around the globe. In addition to the rigorous competition, they attended professional leadership development lectures and gained invaluable international experience.
Jason Funabashi, Indian Hills High School English Teacher and DECA Advisor, oversees the district’s 220-student chapter. He noted that it has been an absolute honor to serve as the advisor during such a successful school year.
