National Teen Driver Safety Week

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We wanted to inform you that this week is National Teen Driver Safety Week.  Whether your child is taking Driver’s Education, has their permit, probationary license or basic license it never hurts to continue the conversation about safe driving. The National Traffic Highway Safety Administration offers “Talk To Your Teen About Safe Driving Habits”

The year’s sophomores currently in Driver’s Education were given “Understanding New Jersey’s Graduated License Program” brochure and “Share the Keys Resource Guide” in class and asked to bring them home to share with their parents/guardians.  In addition, the students had a variety of guest speakers last week focusing on the importance of the GDL, seatbelt use, and distracted driving just to name a few.

Our goal is for the students to bring this information home, start a conversation, and help increase the safety of all members of the FLOW community.

If you have any questions regarding the enclosed information page please email me or your child’s drivers education teacher.

Safe travels,
