The Safety Council oversees a number of Health and Safety programs where
there is mandated compliance to State and/or Federal codes. The Council
ensures that the District is in compliance with the specific
requirements of each of these programs, and that documentation is kept
to validate fulfillment of the responsibility. Depending on the program
compliance this may be achieved through inspections, testing,
investigations, written action plans, written compliance plans,
appointment of certificated and/or trained designees, and/or extensive
record keeping. For each program, a designated District contact has been
assigned, as well as their respective County and/or State level
coordinator. The code compliance programs overseen by the Safety Council
