Ramapo-Indian Hills Regional High School District Professional Development & Learning

The goal of Professional Development and Learning in the RIHRHSD is to help engage faculty as life-long learners in their respective content areas, secondary education pedagogy, District Technology platforms, and District Professional Learning Themes.  In addition, support is offered to all staff to meet annual compliance measures from the NJ DOE. 

The RIH Professional Development & Learning Goals and RIH PD Plan are written annually and guide this process throughout the school year using a wide range of opportunities for faculty and staff to meet their professional development goals.  These opportunities include after-school in-district workshops, online/asynchronous modules, attending out-of-district workshops and conferences, collaborative work through Professional Learning Communities, and independent research studies.  The RIHRHSD also affords our faculty and staff the opportunity to engage in multiple in-service days throughout the school year.
