Ramapo Indian Hills District Reopening 2021/22 Comparison Chart

The purpose of this comparison chart is to help students, staff, and families quickly see how the plan for starting the 2021-2022 school year will differ from our reopening plan from last year.

The Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District Leadership Team continues to prepare for the upcoming school year, but with a strong emphasis on teaching and learning. Covid-19 preventative strategies will be implemented when reasonable and practicable to do so.

Masking: All students and staff will be required to wear masks per Office of the Governor | Governor Murphy Announces Indoor Mask Requirement for Beginning of 2021-2022 School Year

Contact Tracing Exception: In the K–12 indoor classroom setting, the close contact definition excludes students who were within 3 to 6 feet of an infected student (laboratory-confirmed or a clinically compatible illness) where both the infected student and the exposed student(s) correctly and consistently wore well-fitting masks the entire time. This exception does not apply to teachers, staff, or other adults in the indoor classroom setting.
