Interested in becoming a teacher via the NJDOE alternate route program?
The alternate route teacher certification process enables those who have not completed a traditional teacher preparation program at an accredited college/university to transition into the teaching profession. The program includes a 50 hour of pre-service course and 350 hours of formal instruction.
