Doreen Mariani joined the Board in January of 2023. She sits on both the Negotiations and Policy Committees and chairs the Athletics, Arts, Extracurriculars and Communications Committee. A resident of Wyckoff for more than 18 years, Doreen has volunteered in her community in various capacities, including her work on Wishlist by AM’s Annual Night of Fashion and Fun which benefits The Vascular Birthmarks Foundation. Ms. Mariani is a graduate of Bergen County Technical High School and holds a Cosmetology license for over 40 years. Always a people person, she loves her career as a hairstylist as well as her time spent as a companion to seniors in the community. She believes a community is only as strong as it's next generation. This is why she feels strongly about ensuring our district schools maintain a strong focus on academics, quality fact-based academia that promotes respect, compassion, and equality for all and preserves the individual freedoms and rights of students, parents, and teachers.
